This c.1960s Japanese Robot Rocket Ship made by Modern Toys (Masudaya) will feature in the two-day Basics summer auction to be held by Bertoia on August 22-23.

The tinplate toy featuring a robot at the wheel of a lithographed red, white and blue rocket ship is hard to find with the original box as here and, although the box is in distressed condition, the toy itself is as new.

The estimate is $500-1000.
