Lathom Hall has been owned and run by Brian Corrigan for the past three decades but at age 72 he is retiring. He will sell his collection of film, music and pop-culture memorabilia that has been on display at the venue.

Auctioneer Adam Partridge and his colleague James Spiridion will sell the 285 lots on-site on October 19 at an auction titled ‘Lathom Hall: An Exceptional and Eccentric Collection of Film, Music and Pop-Culture Memorabilia’. A viewing event will take place at the venue the day before.

Brian Corrigan said: “After 31 years I am retiring and selling most of my collection. A lot of it is just too big to put in my house so I will only keep a few of the small things like my Beatles memorabilia.”

Spiridion added: “It has obviously been a brilliant venue as you can imagine people taking pictures and selfies with King Kong, Jack Sparrow, Tony Montana, Elvis and all the other cast of characters that inhabit the place.”
